You can call me Frankie - my real name is Irish and much harder to pronounce. Frankie is a nickname that a handful of people used to call me in school, and I like it! It's generally my online nickname. catnip Catnip opened on the 21st of April 2009. When I first opened, and for the time the first layout was up (5 months), Catnip was a catz-only site.
version 1: lilac swirls This was the first website layout I had made in about four or five years, and I struggled with it for months before Catnip was opened. It was a bit girly purple, but I quite liked it.
version 2: secret garden I loved this version, but it ended up staying up through two fairly long hiatuses... so it somewhat overstayed its welcome!

I'm female, in case you didn't know, I'm 22 years old, and I live in Ireland (yes with the shamrocks and diddley-i). My birthday is on Halloween 31st October, which I'm very proud of.
I'm an English literature and music graduate who graduated last year with a first class honours. In September I'm starting a Masters in Library and Information Studies. I enjoy writing, reading, painting, knitting, making jewellery and playing music. The Harry Potter series was pretty much what made me serious about writing, although I had loved it from an early age.
I have a real-life cat called Bumble, who is 10 years old. I began playing petz before I even had her - so that'll tell you how long ago that was, haha! I played Catz 1, Dogz 2, and then entered the PC when I was eleven or twelve after purchasing dogz and catz 4. I opened a few sites, one of which - called Dream - was sort of popular. I then left the PC rather abruptly, and forgot about petz for 6 years. But I couldn't stay away. ;)
