adoption guidelines
Owning a dog from Yellowtail is a great privledge! All of our litters are hand-selected and carefully planned. Each puppy whelped will be from two of our own champions, or a joint litter with another champion Anatolian. Just like with real dogs, however, we are a bit picky as to who will adopt from our champion bloodlines.
- All of our A-reg spawn must go to show homes. If you neglect to show the pup, I'll be happy to take it back, or I'll come looking to recollect it if you don't offer it back up on your own.
- You might be on a waiting list for several weeks before you may receive your pup. I want to be sure interest is up and also that I've registered and pose-trained all of the puppies.
- When you receive your pup, it's age will be set to 12. Feel free to age it to adulthood, but as long as the pups are with me, they will remain pups.
- Before adopting, you will need to fill out a questionaire so I can choose the best new owners for my puppies. As long as you are accepted with the questionaire, you will be put onto the waiting list in chronological order and you'll be given a pup as long as there are enough to fufill the demand on the list.
- All pups adopted from Yellowtail will be pre-registered with my prefix. The only case in which a pup would not carry my prefix is if it's being rehomed or from a joint litter.
